Christmas 2008

So here is my tree which everyone made fun of me having one tree for myself and one for the family but I loved it. I finally have a home large enough for it! It looks better at night with the lights on but none of those pictures took. You can see where Jaxon has pulled on my decor! Little stinker! This was Christmas Eve at my parents home. Every year the kids open up one gift from mom and dad and it seems to be PJ's every year. Ethan will be so embarrassed that I am posting it but they are too cute to not.

This was Christmas morning. We had to do it at 4:00 am because Josh had to work at 6. He still got called in early though because of the poor weather over the passes. Geordan even made it over that early, he did go right back to sleep though!

Hair

So I decided to try a new hair technique to try an get natural looking curl. I have found it. At first it was very scary, and Josh said I looked like I had..well, we wont go there. I loved it but I didn't think anyone else would so I prepared myself for the worst from Josh's brother. I waited as Geordan approached bracing myself for the inevitably rude comment that was sure to escape from his lips..."nice sweater" he said with a smirk. The shirt he made fun of but the hair he liked. He sat behind my in second hour of church and kept playing with it. I must admit it was fun to touch. Then Nick...after the many attempts of rudeness I have taken at him with all his attempts at starting a new fashion statement, I knew he had to say something bad. Nope, he said he liked it also. What the heck? The Christmas spirit most have hit them early. Josh liked it also, I think he just liked that I liked it so much. Anyway here are some pics Josh took of it for those who did not get to see it or comment on it.

Returned Home

RED came home. Thanks for all the support. I have no idea where he was but I am so happy he is home!!

One of my cats is missing. I'm very sad. Red has been gone for a few days now and its cold and snowing.

Christmas 2007

I was looking though my old photos today and found one which made it all worthwhile last year. I love seeing Ethan's face like this. He was so happy and just when we thought it was all done we found this present behind the tree hiding. It was great. This year we aren't having such a big Christmas and we are going to spend more time discussing Christ and giving. I just found out Josh has to work which will throw things off. Any ideas on how to do a somewhat normal Christmas morning when Dad will be gone from 6-4?
